Custom Built

Installing a pool or screen enclosure is a big decision, and one that we want to make as easy as possible for you. In order to help make you feel more comfortable about the process, this page will outline the steps that go into the sale, design, and fabrication of your custom built enclosure.

Meeting with your Account Representative
After contacting us, your information is placed into our customer database and then assigned to an Account Representative. Within a few days, your Rep will contact you to set up a good time to meet and go over your needs. During the meeting, the Account Representative will take a look at the area you want to enclose and take measurements. The Rep will then take those measurements back to our offices and create a custom estimate based entirely on your needs. All if this is at no charge to the customer.
You will receive a copy of the estimate for you to go over. Please note that all estimates are done on a case by case basis and are only valid for 30 days. After that time, a new estimate will have to be made. If the estimate is agreeable, you need only sign it and make a deposit. Once your contract is signed and a deposit is made, your job is placed into the schedule for the next step of designing your new enclosure.
Design As-Built Measurements and Design
Hansen's knows there is no such thing as a "cookie-cutter" screen enclosure. Every enclosure we install is designed and built to your exact measurements. In other words, all our enclosures are Custom Built. Getting precise measurements is extremely important; therefore we use cutting edge technology, years ahead of most others in this industry.
Our staff is highly trained and experienced in using laser guided surveying equipment, which is accurate within 1/1000th of an inch. We take digital measurements of the area where your enclosure is to be installed which are then imported into AutoCAD and the design process begins. With an acute attention to detail, our designers create your enclosure to meet, if not exceed, all engineering standards, codes and the finished appearance.
Layout Design Approval and Prefabrication
Once your design is complete, a Design Approval will be presented to you by your Account Representative. Prefabrication and Installation will not occur unless this approval meets your standards and is signed by you and you alone.
After the Design Approval is signed, prefabrication begins. All metal is cut using the precise measurements and CAD designs. This process is very important to the finished enclosure to assure proper fit to the area and house, as well as to the strength of your enclosure.

Installation
The Prefab materials are delivered to your job site and set up in a staging area for the installation. From this point, in a matter of days, you can see enclosure come to life and get a feel for the finished product from the inside and outside. You will be able to see how your new enclosure will enhance the value of your property and anticipate the use of your new outside environment.
Don’t take our word for it, look for yourself!
